She pleaded guilty and was remanded out of custody to 29 June. Mr Jabulani Sibanda, for the State, told the court that on 9 June this year the complainant, Livingstone Gwese (29), left for work in the morning after having a serious misunderstanding with his wife. Hove later on took advantage of his absence to steal most of the household property including a bed, television, wardrobe, kitchen tables and blankets. Upon returning from work, Gwese discovered that his wife was not at home and most of their property was missing. The court heard that the accused left some photos she had taken with a former boyfriend. Gwese then inquired about Hove’s whereabouts from his neighbours who told him that his wife had taken the property to her relative’s house. The property was valued at US$475 and most of it was recovered. Gwese then reported the matter to Nkulumane Police Station leading to his wife’s arrest.
