Zimbabwe's muckracking tabloid newspaper H-Metro has been sorely compromised by an alleged homosexual relationship between two liberal staff reporters, recently caught pants down in the newsroom.

Zimbabwe Reporter has verified with several sources at Herald House, who all confirm that Robert Mukondiwa and Trust Khosa were caught pants down in the newsroom a little more than a week ago.

Waves of anxiety have swept through H-Metro staffers who have been concerned about Mukondiwa routinely showing up by Khosa’s side, and the latest reports of a sex romp in a company vehicle and later in the news room. Several sources at the newspaper and at Harare House have alleged that Mukondiwa was also sexually abusing surbodinates at the newspaper.

But what has raised a stink was the alleged sex romp between Mukondiwa and Khosa in the newsroom. The two reporters are alleged to have been caught pants down in Herald House by security after a binge at Jazz 105. They were reportedly caught after hours.

The two reporters are said to have steamily made out in a company vehicle first as they retuned from an assignment, drawing the ire of the driver. The case was reported to the head of security. Unconfirmed reports suggest they had earlier been caught having sex in a vehicle at the company's distribution bay.

Convinced that the relationship had gone out of hand, some senior staff at the paper have been trying to lift the lid on the scandal. These staffers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said they alleged that since the scandal erupted, Khosa has taken to the bottle, in a bid to drown his sorrows.

Concerns that Mukondiwa’s strong support for muckracking journalism have shaped H-Metro's coverage of sex scandals especially in Harare's ghettos underscore a paradox. The newspaper is widely suspected of tailoring its news coverage to support its tabloid ideology even though it likes to portray itself as objective.

Both Mukondiwa and Khosa have denied the allegations although such denials are to be expected in such situations. Now some staffers are gravely worried about the homosexual relationship and have taken up the matter with management at Herald House.

It is alleged management has swept the cases under the carpet, much to the chagrin of staffers. Mukondiwa is also said to have a case with Lazarus Murendo which was also hushed up.

All the cases have been reported to Herald human resources, our source said. We could not independently verify with Herald human resources.

there is no smoke without a fire and so i say the management at Herald House must not try to cover up this story instead they must tell the whose world about these shameful acts of their staff coz sooner or later it shall be right on their faces. anyhow its a news house and they should make news out of this. the honourable president must act on these rotten eggs before the whole basket(country) is smeared becoz of these scunks. i tell u God Jehovah will punish these guys and pliz dont be afraid to tell them that God Shall Definately Punish such people during their days on earth and It Has Just Begun.

I bet the mngt at zimpapers will try to sweep this scunk under the carpet, their usual propaganda tendencies. How on earth can a normal and sane person have the slightest idea to sweep under the carpet such disgusting and unacceptable behavior just to say the least. why didn't you report this issue with the same zeal as you reported the ZESA SEX SCANDAL? Manje president havazvide izvozvo, especially from a state newspaper, mucha**** chete.
